A light-filled, open-plan suite with a super king bed (can be configured as twin king-singles), an intimate lounge setting and floor-to-ceiling windows framing magnificent views of the Waikato River. French doors open to a private outdoor terrace with daybed and rolling lawns to the river beyond. 

The ensuite is generously appointed with a deep bath, heated floors and twin basins, with a spacious dressing room adjacent for easy settling-in. Total footprint is a spacious 60 m² of combined indoor-outdoor living, ideal for up to two guests.

Alan Pye Cottage

Set in an elevated position above the sweeping lawns and manicured gardens of Huka Lodge- on the banks of the Waikato River - this two-bedroom owner’s residence delivers the ultimate in exclusivity and style. Inside, the magnificent lounge features vaulted ceilings with skylights, a wood-burning fireplace, lounge chairs and sofas, and floor-to-ceiling doors that open to a private lawn, infinity pool and river beyond.

Each of the two bedrooms is generously sized and styled with king-sized bedding, a walk-through dressing room, and its own fireplace. The ensuite bathrooms include deep soaking baths, premium linens and sophisticated amenities/ Outdoors, the cottage comes alive with a private heated spa pool, an outdoor pavilion with fireplace and lounge, a wooden veranda overlooking the river, and lush lawned gardens for ultimate privacy and tranquility. overing some 325 m² of indoor and outdoor living space, the Alan Pye Cottage is ideally suited to up to four guests in existing bedding - offering a combination of remarkable location, bespoke interiors and seamless connection to nature.

Alex van Heeran Cottage

Nestled on a sun-lit private bluff above the banks of the deep turquoise Waikato River, the four-bedroom Alex van Heeren Cottage delivers ultimate seclusion and luxury. Each bedroom features a king-size bed, a fireplace, walk-in dressing room and sumptuous ensuite bathroom complete with deep soaking bath and premium spa amenities. Two of the rooms open to sweeping river views downstream towards the thunderous Huka Falls, while the other two face a serene private courtyard.

The generous living and dining rooms are anchored by high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass doors that slide open onto a river-facing terrace and a sun-trapped garden courtyard. Outdoors, a private plunge pool and spa await, while an outdoor fireplace adds warmth and ambiance to evenings under the stars. With approximately 364 m² of indoor and outdoor living, the Alex van Heeren Cottage is tailored for up to eight guests travelling together - families or friends seeking exclusive-use elegance combined with full access to Huka Lodge’s refined services.
